Manville Ad Agency Produces Nationally Recognized “Freedom’s Watch” Advertisements

Manville, NJ—November 20, 2007 G&W Ad Agency produced eight and shot two national TV spots for Jamestown Associates and their client Freedom’s Watch, an organization that is attempting to maintain Republican support for President Bush’s policies. The ads, which ran in 20 states beginning in August of 2007, were part of a grass roots advertising campaign that focused on the sacrifices being made by the US troops in Iraq and their families.

The ads received national attention in several media outlets including articles in the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times and on nationally broadcast network television shows such as CNN’s The Situation Room, NBC’s Nightly News, and NBC’s the Today show.

The 30-second ads featured testimonials from Iraq soldiers and their families on the importance of remaining in Iraq on the basis of national security. The conclusion of the ads urged a call to action to contact your local congressman and senator by providing a phone number.

G&W partner and CEO, Paxton Galvanek, stated that working with Jamestown Associates on the Freedom’s Watch campaign was “an honor and a privilege. The soldiers and their families had an emotionally charged message to send to the American people. We are grateful that we had the opportunity to help communicate their message.”
